On September 8, 2021, the "First Batch of Shenzhen Multinational Corporation Enterprise Headquarters awarding ceremony and Foreign Investment Policy Seminar" was successfully held at JW Marriott Hotel. Ai Xuefeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee and deputy mayor, attended the event. Director Zhang Feimeng of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Deputy Director Chi Weiguo and Deputy Director Wu Junjun of the Municipal Human Resources and Security Bureau, President Guo Rongjun of the Shenzhen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment, and representatives of more than 70 multinational corporations attended the event.
In February this year, the government issued the "Measures for the Recognition of Shenzhen Multinational Corporation Enterprise Headquarters", which encourages and guides more multinational corporations to set up headquarters in Shenzhen and actively participate in the construction of "double zones". KTech and other 18 enterprises participated in ceremony as the first batch corporations to receive the recognition. KTech has been successfully upgraded to the MNC headquarters, assuming the headquarters functions of research, development and technical support in China. KTech will make full use of Shenzhen's financial technology advantages, including but not limited to advanced technology, talent gathering and rich business scenes, combined with the network resource of KBank Group in ASEAN region, exports financial technology and solutions for regional trade business and regional markets.
Director Zhang Feimeng of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce said that Shenzhen is currently in a golden period of development driven by "double zones". She hoped that these corporations would seize the opportunity and make full use of the supporting policies of foreign-invested enterprises to expand their investment in Shenzhen. At the same time, it is also hoped that more multinational companies will come to Shenzhen for further development and speed up the formation of a gathering place for the headquarters of multinational corporation. The Municipal Bureau of Commerce will do its best to serve foreign investors and create better conditions for multinational corporations to develop in Shenzhen.
